To PROVE that my RPs are intentionally disregarded, I have taken an old RP and thrust it into the future. I'm sure the wording at least sounds very familiar... Let's jsut see what kind of responses this gets and if anyone actually wants to play this... Here in the planet of Encu 3, all is good. Or was. We used to live in a sort of peaceful semianarchy. But not 'anarchy' in terms of chaos. 'Anarchy' in terms of no tax-happy overlord. When there was a problem with lawlessness, a few peasants with blaster pistols were usually kind enough to solve it. But people were well-bred here, so the blaster pistols were rarely needed. Until... One year ago today was the last High Moon. It was a festival to celebrate the moon's coming. Nobody was ever quite sure when it would fall, but when it came, everybody knew it by the blue light of the moon, bluer than on any other night. But on that night, under the bath of blue light, the moon shattered. Since then, peace has been replaced with war. Happiness and friendship have been replaced with suspicion. But not without cause. In the intervening year. something has happened to the planet of Encu 3. Hackers, crakcers, and vile aliens have come here from every corner of the galaxy. There have been reports of sentient fungi, brainless robots, large upright cats, and things that people don't know exactly what they are, but they do know that they are black, angry, and stomping around the planet. To combat the rising tide of chaos, some of the people of Encu 3 have stepped up to bring the land back to its former glory. But what do they lust for? Power? Control? Riches? Or things more sinister... To join, fill out the form below. NAME: AGE: RACE: Human, Shapechanger, Endiku (large upright cat), NOTABLE POSSESSIONS: NOTABLE TRAITS: To research technology, just PM me. Be warned that I might not accept all technology, only those that sound reasonable. The disadvantage that shapechangers have is that they are shunned and will be hunted if they reveal themselves. They have the obvious advantage of transformation into an animal. For this adventure, shapechangers are not restricted to wolves, but they also must have their desired animal approved by me. Time Scale: 1 hour realtime is equivalent to 1 day gametime. The only "Original" thing here is the map:

That setting is not going to work futuristic. Maybe it could use a little 'ye olde' charm?  This topic has been moved because OF COURSE you didn't mean to PLAY such a derivative RPG without proper attribution!  At least you didn't [...] with my map...

Well, despite the fact that I did not claim the RP to be my own, nor use Ferret's map, nor copy it verbatim, Ferret has asked me to takedown the RP immediately. I will be closing this topic now. It seems all my RP ideas are stupid, aren't they? Ah well, quoth the raven, "Nevermore!" (Another reminiscent of this RP... Ferret tries to persuade Cade to be a wolf while Cade refuses and wants to be a wolf. |
