bonjour, everyone! This string is for radnom little (PG-13 or below) bits of knowledge that you'd like to share. from me: how to get a single-sided checkerboard on a rubik's cube with only 6 double turns (instead of the usual 12). kinda useless, but this is my favorite pattern. note on the algorithm: V is the layer between R and L. Spoiler: click to toggle if you can't read Rubik's cube algorithms, then sorry. yeah. |

you know, there is a notation for rotating the cube: X means look at R and rotate the cube clockwise 90 degrees X'...the other way Y means look at U and rotate clockwise Y'...other way |

Actually, there are three that I know of. There is the notation you just mentioned, the one that Mephiles mentioned, as well as another I have seen floating around the net. I personally like the one Mephiles just used as it seems much simpler to me. |

When i told you to do a simple problem on the rubic cube. You totally messed up every time and i had to fix it for you. If you guys dont believe me. It was a Robotics think in Newyork City. O yea all the other people who havent done the rubic cube before finished the problem in like five mins. Seriously dude. Not to bring you down or anything but you know that you know nothing of the rubic cube but the shape lol Edited by firefox838, May 4 2008, 10:39 AM.

To break the constant flaming: If you want to play power chords on any instrument, remember that power chords are essentially 5ths. This makes it extremely easy for the cellos to play metal songs. Yay. http://youtube.com/watch?v=8JjQGt7WjK0&feature=related Those are cellos, btw. Edit: Changed link to better song. Edited by MushroomDude, May 6 2008, 07:03 PM.

Another tip. If you ever decide to voice act, make sure you hear what you sound like first. Otherwise, you get this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5FTJxfV3pc |

no, I'm not dead after no activity for the longest time. believe me, I am still alive. (I'm doing science and I'm still alive!) yeah. i got Portal. this may be obvious from the sudden change in signatures. anyhow, 'tis fun. i beat it. when playing Portal, keep in mind that your portals do have a "heads-up" direction. if you fire them sideways relative to one another, then you may find yourself turning unpleasantly. this may be an inconvenience to you, especially when you are trying, say, an infinite loop. also, they're ellipses, not circles, so they're easier to fall in "right side up." if you're running Portal from Steam, killing a turret by ASHPD-ing another turrent on top of it (thus knocking it over) gets you the "friendly fire" achievement. more about turrets: they're generally detrimental to your health. especially the ones that fire rockets. they don't blame you for killing them, so feel no guilt whatsoever to being bloodthirsty with them.Spoiler: click to toggle
