MapleStory uses GameGuard to stop crackers by installing itself as a driver. This works only on Windows XP SP2 and fails often. It rarely works on Vista and has little or no support for Windows SP1 or Windows 2000. Not only that, it cannot be run through Wine (because of the GameGuard problem) and therefore has no support for BSD, MacOSX, LInux, and most other Free Operating Systems. I suggest you ABANDON MapleStory or atleast switch to a private server that does not use GameGuard.
