I hope it is free. Rendering is one of those big obstacles many new animators fall down at. It's really hard to find enough computers to get a scene rendered in a timely manner. My personal way of minimizing render resources is render everything in multiple passes using nodes and composite them together to get a finished animation. Another advantage to this method is the ability to fine tune and fix minor rendering problems as well assave time on renders. Instead of spending an half-an-hour rendering a single frame, you can spend 2-4 minutes rendering 40-60 passes over it and composite them all at the end. |
